The music industry is a very evil and wicked industry. Popular genres today include Rap, Rock, Country, Pop, etc. The music industry promotes sinful behavior. The songs of today are promoting drug use, killing, stealing, fornication, idol worship, profanity and etc. These are all things God is against.
1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Exodus 20:13 KJV
Thou shalt not kill.
Exodus 20:15 KJV
Thou shalt not steal.
1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Exodus 20:3 KJV
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Ephesians 4:29 KJV
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Programming The People
Music programs people. They want to be like these people. They want what they have.
Music can influence how people think by affecting their mood, perception, and cognitive processes. Research shows that listening to different types of music can alter the way individuals process information and make decisions. For example, a study found that people exposed to certain musical elements, such as tritone or perfect fifth chords, demonstrated different ways of categorizing information and were more influenced by aggregated or individualized information depending on the type of music they heard.
Additionally, music can change how people perceive the world around them. A study from the University of Groningen showed that listening to happy or sad music can influence the perception of facial expressions, with participants identifying happy faces more accurately when listening to happy music and sad faces when listening to sad music.
Music also has the potential to alter memories and their emotional tone. A study suggests that music can become intertwined with memories, subtly changing their emotional impact. This could have implications for mental health treatments, as carefully chosen music might help reframe negative memories in a more positive light.
What about the Christian music in the industry?
I used to listen to “Christian” Rock and Rap music. One band I listened to was called POD. Their music is not Christian. In one song they even used profanity. Look at the history of Rock and Rap music. The term Rock and Roll was a term for intercourse. Rock music was created by Satan. How can something that was created evil become good? Rap music is no better than Rock music. Even the “Gospel” music industry is evil. The “Gospel” artists are good friends with Rappers, Rock Musicians, Actors, etc. Look at Maverick City Music.

Maverick City Music is a record company that produces so called Christian music. Kirk Franklin and Glorilla made a song together and won a “Gospel” award recently. Kirk has also done music with Kanye West, Lil Baby, Chance the Rapper, T-Pain and T.I.

R Kelly and Marvin Sapp, who is the senior pastor at the Chosen Vessel Church in Texas, worked together on a song in 2017.

Snoop Dogg has even released his own “Gospel” album working with “Gospel” artists such as Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, Patti Labelle.

Tasha Cobbs made a song with Nicki Minaj in 2018. She also made a song with Ciara.
They don’t even try to hide it anymore. Its right out in the open. The entire music industry is connected. It was never about them making music for the Lord, its about them making money. They are corrupt.
Ecclesiastes 1:15 KJV
That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
What can we listen to as Christians
Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual Songs. Music that is pure. Music that helps us strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ. Music that allows us to give God praise.
Colossians 3:16 KJV
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:19 KJV
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
James 5:13 KJV
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Psalm 47:6 KJV
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
Psalm 135:3 KJV
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
God has made it clear what kind of music we can listen to.
